I’ve linked this post up to the Bower Power blog Spring Photo Challenge. Be sure to check out Katie’s blog (no, we’re not real life friends but I feel like I know her because I’ve been a faithful blog follower for quite some time). She’s a fellow stay-at-home mama of three cute little boys and has a hilarious sense of humor and mad DIY skills. Reading her posts is one of the highlights of Lena’s nap time for me and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well! Now on to my attempts at spring-themed photography…
Here are some photos of toddlers playing in the woods.
This is Thea, one of Lena’s friends from the very first class we ever attended upon moving to England. We met Thea and her mom, Jane, at a baby yoga class and while we don’t get to see them as often as we’d like, we always have a great time together. It’s possible that Thea has an even quirkier personality than Lena so when the two of them get together, we spend most of the time laughing and shaking our heads. No idea where they get it from.
Anglesey Abbey is our go-to spot for sunny days as it is filled with endless possibilities for exploration and fun. The girls got very serious about knocking on the sticks and there was some sort of digging involved as well. Unfortunately, they seemed to share a secret language so I couldn’t tell you what the ultimate plan was.
We had a picnic lunch at the treehouse before attempting to wrangle the girls back towards the visitor center. Lena wasn’t feeling this suggestion as you can see by her signature look that says, “Whatchu talkin’ bout, woman?!”
The magnifying glass soon persuaded her to change her mind and off we went with daydreams of children napping for hours and moms enjoying some quiet time.
